128GB iPad Model Can Now Be Ordered Online

We all know Apple sticks with its claims and does it with great accuracy. It is also the case of the new 128GB iPad Model that was released today and already available for purchase online. Although we don not have any clue regarding the store availability you can buy yourself this wonderful piece of technology online with a shipping time of just one to three days.
We discovered the first clues that Apple will probably release a higher capacity iPad together with the new iOS 6.1 firmware release last week. A few hours later Apple confirmed this rumor leaving no doubt that the new model will be released on February 5th with a whooping 128 GB capacity. You can read the actual press release below:
“With more than 120 million iPads sold, it’s clear that customers around the world love their iPads, and everyday they are finding more great reasons to work, learn and play on their iPads rather than their old PCs.
With twice the storage capacity and an unparalleled selection of over 300,000 native iPad apps, enterprises, educators and artists have even more reasons to use iPad for all their business and personal needs.”
There also two different colors available to choose from – black and white as well as Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi coupled with 3G models. If you decide to purchase a Wi-Fi only model it will cost you $799 compared and $929 when it comes to the more expensive Wi-Fi + network capability model. Those being said, nothing can stop you from buying a larger capacity iPad. Although the Cupertino company has not provided the availability for each country, each and every online Apple store we checked has it and the shipping time is the same regardless the location from where you wish to buy it (one to three working days).
The release came as an unexpected surprise for all of us, featuring nothing new besides a larger memory capacity. Now, it remains to be seen whether consumers will start buying it and confirm the new Apple marketing strategy.
