13-inch iPad Pro will be Released by the End of the Year

The Chinese business publication alleges that Apple is preparing to release iPad with a larger screen. According to the source the guys at Cupertino geared up development of the device and are planning to introduce the gadget this year – in the third quarter of 2014. The model will feature a large screen with a diagonal between 12 – 13 inches.

“According to The Economic Daily, the 12.9-inch iPad (also known as the iPad Pro) is still in Apple’s plans. The device will present officially to the end of the year “- the GforGames conveys.

Earlier this year, the Internet enjoyed a leaked image of iPad Pro. The “spy” photo posted on the Weibo microblogging service one can see a mock-up of the device, which resembles an enlarged iPad Air. Judging by the picture the screen of this tablet should be no less than 13 inches. One can see a camera hole in the upper left corner, and the Apple logo in the center.

iPad with a 13-inch screen is one of the tentative novelties expected from the Californian company. Little is known about the device so far; there are just its alleged characteristics and third-party designers’ renders. According to rumors, iPad Pro will run under the iOS X operating system. This is a specialized version of OS X, adapted to operate on mobile devices with touch screens. The base model will cost $1,000.

If the message confirms, the announcement of the 13-inch iPad Pro will most probably be held this fall at a separate press conference by Apple dedicated to iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3.
