3D-Render of the HTC M8 Prime Reveals all Design Features

The web has seen the first three-dimensional render of the HTC M8 Prime smartphone. The rumors of a new model appeared a few months ago, and, apparently, its announcement may take place in the near future. However, there are different assumptions on the dates, as the informed sources suggest the presentation of the novelty may take place either in July or in September.

As expected, HTC M8 Prime is a premium version of the HTC One M8, although the @evleaks resource wrote the name of the new model removing the word «One». However, before the announcement things may change, and the final name of the new smartphone can be significantly different from the present.

According to the rumors, the case of the HTC M8 Prime is made of “unusual” metal alloy, and the new product will exceed the dimensions of the HTC One M8 because of the larger screen.

According to non-official sources, the device will be equipped with 5.5″ touch screen with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. The same resolution, as rumored, will be featured by LG G3 Galaxy S5 Prime. Other characteristics of the HTC M8 Prime include a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB RAM, rear dual camera with dual LED flash, the same as those of the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime, a multimode Qualcomm MDM9635 modem, manufactured using 20-nm process technology. Thanks to the MDM9635 modem which supports the aggregation of carriers (up to 40 MHz for FDD Category 6 and LTE TDD), HTC M8 Prime will provide the download rate at 225 Mbit/s.
