The Chinese OnePlus Company became famous thanks to a new smartphone, which has already been nicknamed a “flagships killer”, and their ambiguous promotional campaign named ?Smash the Past?. Within the framework of their promotional campaign for the OnePlus One phone the company offered anyone interested in this device, to smash their smartphone. The person would receive the right to become the first owner of the Chinese “Google Phone” instead.

Obviously, this approach is too drastic, especially when considering that the list of the third-party gadgets mentioned the top phones and devices of the famous brands. Not everyone will dare spoil a device, which is in good working condition and priced higher than OnePlus One. On the other hand, this initiative attracted 140,000 interested users. And we already have the winners! They are the authors of the video, in which the 64-gigabyte iPhone 5s is getting smashed with an industrial press.

OnePlus One smartphone features a 5.5-inch screen with the Full HD resolution, protected with Gorilla Glass 3. 4-core Snapdragon processor 801 with the clock speed of 2.5 GHz and the Adreno 330 accelerator are used as a platform. RAM is 3 GB. Flash memory makes provision for either 16 or 64 GB. Also, the device boasts of a 3100 mAh battery and the main camera of 13 megapixels resolution which supports recording 4K- video.

The device with the top features will be available in the second quarter for ridiculous $300 and $350 for the 16 and 64 GB versions respectively.
