A $13 Xaomi Fitness Bracelet is now Compatible with iPhone

Xiaomi Mi Band fitness bracelet was introduced this year in July and is now supported by iOS devices. The official app of the Chinese producer facilitating interaction with the electronic device became available in the App Store. Xiaomi’s Sports Tracker has a low price tag – its retail price is just 80 yuan, or $13.
Now Mi Band worn on the wrist not only supports Android-powered devices, but also the iPhone’s operating systems, iOS 7 and above. The gadget monitors the physical activity of the user and the quality of sleep, the schedule of sleep and wakefulness with the help of the built-in accelerometer. Among the functions of the gadget there is one to wake the owner, if the bracelet understands that it’s time to get up. The energy-efficient Bluetooth module allows Mi Band to work up to 30 days on a single charge. Most competitors have broader functionale, but they work 2-7 days.
Xiaomi Mi Band is made in the form of an aluminum plate, wrapped in bright–colored straps. The waterproof bracelet, protected under the IP67 standard, can operate up to a depth of one meter and track the movement of the swimmer.

Xiaomi previously released the sales figures of this 13–dollar tracker. In the three months since the launch of the model users purchased more than 1 million devices that can evidence one thing: the idea of making wearable electronics affordable to anyone has been very successful.
