Figures have come out for the latest period when it comes to the smartphone market – ComScore made them public (the latest period calculated is until the end of February 2013) and the results say that the US smartphone market has Apple as leader. The brand has kept the top OEM sales in the region, with 38,9 percent market share (up from 35% calculated in November 2012)

The other leaders are, as it follows: Samsung, which has 21.3 percent marketshare in US, HTC, Motorola, and on the fourth place LG. The only winners in figures when it comes to market share are Samsung and Apple.

For instance, HTC lost about 1,7% of the market share compared to November 2012 (from 9,5% to 8,4%)  and LG only 0,2 (from 7,0% to 6,8%)

Overall, the Android users have got to 51,7 percent and iOS 38,9. The other users are insignificant, as they represent less than 10 percent. iOS grew 4 percent since November 2012 while Android lost 2 percent market share. Still they remain the most important pivot centers.

What is interesting is that Google lost 2% of the share of smartphone subscribers, almost equal to Blackberry (which lost 1,9% compared to November 2012). Here is a detailed table on the main smartphone platforms:
