After a month and a half after the release of iOS 8.1.2, Apple released the third cumulative update of the operating system for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad aimed to fix the bugs. You can go to the settings of your mobile device and download iOS 8.1.3 right now.

iOS 8.1.3 is an incremental update of iOS 8. It includes bug fixes, increases stability and performance, and adds a number of improvements as well. According to the release notes, the update needs the reduced amount of space. It adds new options for configuration options for education standardized testing and fixes the bug preventing the work of multitasking gestures on iPad.

Changes featured in iOS 8.1.3 for iPhone and iPad are the following:

  • Reducing the amount of storage required to perform a software update
  • Fixing an issue that prevented some users from entering their Apple ID password for Messages and FaceTime
  • Addressing an issue that caused Spotlight to stop displaying app results
  • Fixing an issue which prevented multitasking gestures from working on iPad
  • Adding new configuration options for education standardized testing
