We mentioned that tickets for last year’s Worldwide Developers Conference sold out in less than three minutes. This year, for the first time, Apple changed to way it distributes tickets for the Worldwide Developers Conference. Instead of selling the tickets through its website, Apple is going to randomly give them to developers who were members of an Apple developer program at the time of the conference announcement and who register at Apple’s developer web site. If you are a registered iOS developer, you can apply for the chance to get a WWDC ticket until 10am PDT on 7th April. To apply head to Apple’s WWDC web page.
Apple is also offering 200 free tickets to students as Students Scholarships. If you are not among the lucky winners, then you can still watch a live stream of the State of the Union session ? the keynote for developers ? and the Apple Design awards. You also be able to watch the other sessions later. We would like to know what you expect Apple to announce at this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference.
