Citrix has provided the owners of iOS devices with the opportunity to use a mouse, which is a computer pointing they are used to. You should install the Citrix Receiver client on the smartphone or tablet to use the device. The software perceives the mouse movements and sends them to the server.

The company Citrix Systems is working on a mouse for iPad and iPhone to simplify the use of Windows apps on the Apple mobile devices in remote access. Using a mouse is not featured on iPad on default. However, there is a possibility of the access to corporate applications running on servers; they are sent to the client systems with the help of the Citrix software.

The mouse prototype named Citrix X1 was presented at the Citrix Summit conference. The mobile app detecting the mouse movements and sending them to the server should be installed on the Apple device to use the manipulator.

Those who would like to test the manipulator are offered to apply for a demonstration or take part in the distribution of an unnamed number of the prototypes.
