Clean your iPhone and iPad easily

After some time of your it may be that the beautiful retina display on your iPhone will become smudged and will need some quick cleaning. Here are some tips on how to keep your device clean and spotless, be it an iPhone or an iPad.
First of all you will have to unplug your iDevice and shut it off. You can hold the Sleep button until the iPhone or iPad will display the red slider that allows one to shut the device down.

Apple also supplied you with a cleaning cloth when you have bought your iPhone. Use this to clean the screen, although many people prefer using their sleeves or shirts to do so. The cloth however will take care of any smudges or fingerprints remaining on the screen. A lint free cloth will also do, this if you have misplaced or lost the original cloth that came with your device. Some people use cloths destined for cleaning eyeglasses. These will do nicely too. You can safely add just a tiny bit of water to the cloth if you want to remove any stubborn dirt marks on the screen. You want the cloth to be damp and not wet, since too much water will damage your device. You want it moist and not dripping wet.
The important part is not to use any cleaner substances. Plain water will do. The iPhone’s screen has a special coating that might get damaged if the substance you use is corrosive or otherwise acidic in nature. Stick to water and you will be just fine.
