Create And Accept iPhone or iPad Calendar Invitations

This is one of my favorite topics and I will gladly take you through the process of teaching you how to create and accept Calendar invites on your iPhone and iPad, and I say gladly because I will surely contribute to making your life much easier! So this article is addressed to all of you out there who have relatives or friends – dear ones for instance, or even business contacts that use the default Calendar app on their iPhones and iPads iDevices.
If you are in this category then be informed that you can now share events and even calendars with each other in a very simple manner and also very efficiently. If you are part of a big family and therefore tend to organize all sorts of activities with them, holidays or any type of socializing event actually – then you can easily have a shared calendar and waste no time in getting things done. It saves you the hassle of a lot of phone calls or crazy email threads. Also, if you have a big group of friends and you do a lot of things together, then you will also greatly benefit from sharing your events and calendars. And the list of benefits doesn’t stop here. As mentioned, shared calendars is also highly used when it comes to one’s profession and in business related matters, so you can use this with the members of your team with which you collaborate on a regular basis and pretty much have the same schedule overall. So you should definitely invite them to your calendar and to the events that you have created – and hurry up the process in getting things done rather than wasting time by sending out separate emails (to different colleagues), then waiting for their reply and therefore developing a tangled email thread that can be avoided from the very beginning with the use of a share calendar. Don’t you think you could also very much benefit from this as well? Just picture it.
So now that we have got the whole theory out of the way and we have established the necessity of having a shared calendar, let’s mention the sub-chapters of our article. - For the third step we have the tapping on the Edit button (this button is located in the upper right hand corner).
- Now you want to start to actually invite people – so you need to tap on Invitees (you can find this option under the Edit options menu).
- How can you do this? Well you can either start typing the name of a contact, or the second option would be to tap on the blue + button (located in the right of the to field) so that you can successfully access your Contacts list.
- Once all the previous steps performed, you also need to tap the contact name. If it happens that they have multiple email addresses, then just tap the email address you want to send the invitation to.
- If you have more persons you would like to invite, then you will have to repeat the process for each person once again.
- Now that you have finished inviting everybody, you simply have to tap the Done button (located in the upper right hand corner) as soon as you have finished.
