 Step 1/ First, you should download the newest version of TinyUmbrella. Please be sure you download the version for your operating system. You should know that the tutorial was created for a Mac, but the steps are exactly the same on Windows and Linux operating systems.

Step 2/  Now you should save the app  on the desktop and then go and double-click the app icon in order to begin the process. Don’t panic if you see that it takes more seconds to initialize, it is perfect normal.

Step 3/ Connect the device you want to save the SHSH blobs for. You should know that it can be any device from iPad, iPhone to iPod touch. What you should know is that it should run iOS 6.1.

• Save all Available SHSH
• Request SHSH from Cydia.

Step 6/ Now you should change the SHSH directory into an SHSH folder and keep it on your desktop. This is the method through which you will find it easily and be able to verify and backup your SHSH blobs.

 Step 7/  In order to see the status of the save process you should click the log tab, which prepares you for this action.

Step 8/ This is the step where you save the blobs. How? The process is simple: click the Save SHSH and TinyUmbrella 6.12.00 will begin to save the SHSH blobs for iOS 6.1.(or the other iOS firmware that Apple is using). Save it to the directory you selected in Step 6. In order for the process to be complete, you should see a message that says SHSH Successfully Saved. if you don’t see this message, then you should try again in order to be sure the operation is completed.

Step 9/  This is the last step, you should open the SHSH folder created in Step 6 and verify that the SHSH blob can be found there. Be sure that the folder is named correctly and it has the firmware also noted. If you want to upgrade to another version of   iOS, you will be able to use the same tutorial in order to save the SHSH blobs.

We recommend you to back up the folder which contains the saved SHSH blobs to a folder or a route like Dropbox, for instance. This si the way you will find them easily whenever you want to use them.
