What if you work at an office with the access to confidential information, but have to leave the workplace for coffee or cigarettes breaks? The FingerKey application allows to unlock your Mac only via iPhone fingerprint. Moreover, this is only possible if the smartphone user is in close proximity to the computer: the data between the applications ?is exchanged via Bluetooth.

As planned by Leonardo Luizari, the?developer, in order to unlock the screen of your Mac you simply need to touch your finger to the biometric sensor. However, for everything to work properly, you need to initially install the relevant software on your mobile and computer and sync the devices via the wireless module.

After this you will need to drop down the curtain of the Notification Center of the iPhone and touch the Touch ID icon. The application works with any computer equipped with a Bluetooth 4.0 module. The list of supported models includes MacBook Air released no earlier than 2011, MacBook Pro 2012 and 2013, iMac 2013 and Mac mini back until 2011.
