Galaxy Note 8.0 – The New iPad Mini Direct Competitor

It seems like we`ve got news! This time the rumors about a new Galaxy Note were true. As we could find out, Samsung just gave to the public a press release where they are letting us know about their new device – Galaxy Note 8.0. The new gadget is an 8 inch tablet and is supposed to be a response to the Apple`s iPad Mini. Samsung hopes that the Galaxy Note 8.0 will have the the same success iPad mini had for Apple.
We are sure you are curious to find out what characteristics the new tablet has, so here`s what you can expect. You will be able to enjoy quad core processor, a 1280×800 (720p) display, which we might say it`s a little bit better than that of iPad mini, a 2GB of RAM, and of course you can use it for calls as well. If you are interested in finding more, just read further.
As we told you, there`s more to say about the new Galaxy Note 8.0, and we are sure you will love the fact that it comes along with a Micro SD card slot, giving you the possibility to expand your space. The interesting part is that it will have an S-Pen form, which is for sure Samsung`s mark. The not so pleasant part is related to the software it`s working on, which is 5 months old and also the fact that it supports just HSPA+, and there is no LTE support for the new gadget.
What we don`t know yet, is the day when the device will be released on the market and the entry price for this new ‘ready to play’ toy. The rumors we`ve heard, tell us something about a price lower than $300. But when we will find for sure, we will be able to figure out the targeted market as well. The price is always a very important aspect for such devices, so as soon as we`ll know it, we will share this info with you.
If the rumors concerning the price of Samsung`s tablet would be true, then all we need to see is how the new Note S-Pen will beat the notorious iPad mini. Should be Apple`s tablet worried about the making calls ability of the Samsung`s Galaxy Note 8.0? Because we don`t have yet an answer to this question, we must wait and see what will happen.
But we must say, that in our opinion, this would not be possible. Why? It`s simple! It`s true that the Android operating system is improving each day, but even with that, we believe that the iPad`s mini user friendly interface and also the diversity of the apps you can use, will make the Apple`s device more likeable for the users. And this, without thinking of the price matter, which is also an important factor.
We are curious and interested in reading your opinion about the subject. Are you attracted by the fact you will be able to make calls with this new device? Please feel free to share your thoughts with us.
