How To Hang Up By Flipping Your iPhone

Some Android phones and Windows Phone devices have a very interesting and useful feature. You can use gestures to hang up on a call or respond to one without even touching the screen. iOS users didn’t have means to enjoy such a feature. That is… until now. There’s a new tweak in Cydia and it’s called Turn to hangup. With it you can reject a call or silence one with a gesture. For example, when you flip your phone the call will be rejected. When you shake the device, the call will be silenced.

Install the tweak and there will be a new menu in the Settings app and this will allow you to easily enable or disable this tweak. The default setting is On, so you can start using it right away after installation. Try it by flipping your phone the next time you are receiving a call. You can place the phone against a hard surface or even the palm o your hand to reject a call.

Technically you can shake the iPhone and silence its vibration or ringtone but this didn’t work for us, no matter how we tried it. The features presented by Turn to hangup are already available in the default iOS, but you can enable them faster if you install this tweak. The download is free and you only need to enable the BigBoss repo in the Cydia store to gain access to it.
