iPhone Playlist How To Move Your iPhone/iPod Playlists To Apple iTunes

Playlists are a great way to organize your music and not worry about having to constantly press play on the next song. One great feature of the iPhone is that you can create playlists on your iTunes and sync them back to your iPhone or iPod Touch, iPod Nano or iPad. And it also goes the other way around: you can successfully sync playlists created on your phone for use on your computer running iTunes.

How to create a Playlist

All you have to do is create a new playlist. Just add the songs you like. In the tab named Playlists tap on Add Playlist and add a new name to the one you have just created. ow scroll through your song library and add the songs you wish to form the playlist with. Press the plus button and the track name will change color as a way of letting you know it has been added to the list. Press the Done button when you are finished and satisfied with your new playlist and you can see that the playlist in question is now listed under the name you chose. Change the order of the tracks as you wish, delete songs from the playlist or add new ones to it. Go nuts.

How to Sync the Playlist

Now the syncing part. Plug in your iPhone or iPod Touch/Nano into your computer via the USB cable, just as you would do if you would want to charge it. In the left hand column select iPhone or iPod Touch/Nano from the devices list, co into the Music tab and check Sync Music. Right underneath choose “Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres” since we only want to sync the playlist you have just created. Scroll down and select that playlist from the Playlists section on the screen. Check it and press Apply. The computer will start the sync process.

That was quote easy right?. Now you only have to check the newly-imported playlist in the iTunes window. It should be there under the name you specified earlier and the order of the songs should be preserved.
