IKEA Offers Wireless Smartphone Charging

The company IKEA has revealed the appearance and cost of its branded furniture with the feature of mobile devices wireless charging. Moreover, the manufacturer presented a case lineup, so that the owners of iPhones and other smartphones not supporting wireless charging could use the novelty.
The network saw the detailed information on the IKEA solutions and their prices. The products come under the Qi standard; therefore, the cases are needed for those smartphones that do not support it. For example, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus cases will cost you $25 each, and the users of Samsung Galaxy S3, S4 and S5 will have to pay $15 for each.
IKEA did not forget about the older models, so the adapters for iPhone 5/5s and iPhone 4/4s will be available for purchase. The latter will be priced at $20. The company?s concept is not new. The adapter looks like a massive smartphone attachment, which serves as a wireless charging receiver and is connected to the power socket. The cases lineup is named VITAHULT.
As for the IKEA wireless charging products, the company offers a lineup of table lamps and floor lamps at the cost from $69 to $119, round and oval stands in the price range from $28 to $65, as well as nightstands, the prices of the which will range from $60 to $100.
The new IKEA products are to go on sale in the US at the end of April.
