One of the problems challenging a modern person is the necessity to charge electronic gadgets all the time. External batteries can certainly add a few hours of live for an iPhone and an iPad, but their charge is also finite, so the user are forced to look for an electrical outlet.

And what if the outlet is not available? Experts are trying different approaches to solve this problem. Earlier we talked about thermal charger, several variants of solar charging devices and even about a hydrogen fuel cell charger. Joe Shepard, an engineer from Florida, proposed another original solution.

Joe developed an external battery for mobile devices, which is charged with the kinetic energy. You don?t needed anything other than active lifestyle to replenish the battery. The principle of the iMoveCharger gadget operation is quite simple: just carry it in your pocket or bag to charge the built-in battery.

Cover fluctuations convert into electric current while walking, thus recharging the battery. The engineer claims that the intelligent design adjusts to the nature of movements in order to optimize energy production. When you need to recharge your iPhone or iPad, simply connect the iMoveCharger device to the USB- port.

The funds for the production of the kinetic battery the American collects through the Indiegogo crowdfunding platform. Shepard expects to collect $25,000 within four weeks. At the time of writing he has raised about $2000.
