iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite Releases will be Timed Differently

Despite close integration of iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite operating systems their releases will be held on different dates. 9to5Mac reports this referring to informed sources.
As you know Apple announced an important initiative ? unified communications in a all-in-package announcement of iOS and OS X Yosemite at WWDC. You can send files between iOS-devices and Mac computers with AirDrop, Handoff function provides simple transfer of the rendering context between mobile and desktop systems; you can answer calls and send messages from your computer as well. Regardless of close integration of iOS 8 with OS X Yosemite, they will become available for users at different times.
The well-informed sources reported that Apple intends to separate the releases of the operating systems in time. iOS 8 will be presented in September together with iPhone 6, while OS X Yosemite will debut next month, in October.
Last year Apple staggered the release dates of iOS 7 and OS Mavericks, because it switched some resources from the development of the MacBook operating system to the support of the mobile platform. This year the company will do the opposite way and the stuff, which is working on the development of iOS8 will be engaged in getting OS X Yosemite ready.
As stated earlier that Apple was planning to present the first public beta version of OS X Yosemite by the end of July. The management of the company wants to make sure, that the users who chose to take part in the testings, will get the hold of the stable version of the system. Meanwhile we can?t eliminate the possibility, that the release of the first open version of OS X Yosemite beta will be postponed to the beginning of August.
