According to a new report, the mobile games thrust owned by Apple will enter on the market of the gaming spheres in October, right after the supposed launch date of Apple next-gen device, the iPad Mini 2 and the iPad 5.

It seems that Apple is thinking about the possibility of entering in competition with giant manufacturers of the gaming consoles, such as Microsoft, Sony or Nintendo. You all know the Playstation 4, the Wii U and the Xbox One.

As Gotta Be Mobile reported, the iPhone manufacturer is currently looking into increasing the production of third party controllers for games compatible with its upcoming iOS 7 devices, putting on the main stage the full-sized iPad and the iPad mini.

As stated in the same report, Apple has already given the guidelines necessary for the production of these gaming instruments, while their overall design has to be compliant with all Apple handsets, including here both the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 5S.

The developers in charge with this project have to find Gamepad profiles, that can be connected to iOS devices. However, they have the liberty of designing the controllers as they see fit, taking into consideration the required gaming functions.

As an example, you know that a car racing or gun showdown game need to have similar gamepad buttons with those already existent in the PS4 or Xbox. At this moment, a huge chunk of the games existent in the App Store, designed for episodic users, are controlled by touch.

According to a new report from GBM, the base functions of these hardware gaming extensions come to complete your handset’s sensor and touch components.

The apparition of these new gadgets, point out that Apple is looking to expand their business and enter the gaming market and industry, an industry which is currently fighting with the small amount of attention it has received lately. We should mention here that Apple has triggered this action, with the apparition of mobile gaming devices.

Besides, Apple is not in a direct competition with the gaming console producers, as it will probably offer the full sized iPad and the iPad Mini as an alternative for both the casual gamers and the users who still enjoy the high end consoles and the gaming experience they can provide.

By providing the users to be able to use distinct gaming instruments for the iPad series, Apple is probably analyzing the possibility of reviving this industry, which could generate a high income.

Latest rumors on the matter suggest that Apple is planning to release a new iPad model by the fall of 2013. The first to come out in the open would be the iPad 5, shortly followed by a cheaper version of the iPad Mini. Maybe we’ll get to see a version of it with Retina included.
