As the iPhone 5S release date approaches the rumor regarding the next-gen Apple iOS-powered smartphone are starting to pile up, and after we’ve heard a lot about the terminal’s processor, camera, battery, RAM, or the new fingerprint sensor, now we get to look at some leaked photos of its front panel.

While may of the users wondered whether the HTC logo placed below the 4.7-inch display of the One can be used as a Home button, it seems that Apple might be the first to have this approach with the new iPhone 5S. A Czech Republic-based website got its hands on some photos that reveal for us how the front panel of the new Apple smartphone will look like.

The spy shots of the iPhone 5S front panel also include a small Home button, which has the Apple log applied over it. Until now, the leaks regarding the highly-anticipated iPhone 5S were mostly related to the inside of the smartphone, focusing on its components and their layout, even though we were talking about connectors, motherboard, camera, or battery. Now, for the first time, we get to see the front panel, the cutting out of the Home button, and the Home button itself with the Apple logo on it.

In my opinion, it would be a redundant to have the Apple logo both on the front and the back of the iPhone 5S, as an excessive branding goes against the minimalism that makes the Apple products so amazing. If the leaked photos are the real deal and Apple will indeed place its logo on the Home button, the Cupertino-based may ditch back branding of the handset.

Moreover, the Apple logo on the Home butt might actually be a transparent area, which would allow the fingerprint scanner to “get a look” at the user’s… errr… fingerprint.

There are a lot of contradictory rumors about the iPhone 5S, especially when it comes to its technical specifications. We are almost sure that the iPhone 5S will come with a new chipset, most likely dubbed Apple A7, but there are various opinions regarding its architecture, some saying it will be quad-core, while others saying that Apple will stick to the dual-core configuration. The amount of RAM is also a subject of dispute, with rumored values from 1 GB to 2 GB.

Courtesy of some leaked components, we are already able to tell you that the camera mounted on the back of the iPhone 5S will come with dual-LED flash, but what about its sensor? Will it be a 13 megapixel unit like some like to say, or Apple will fit a 12 megapixel sensor like the rumor mill is speculating lately.

Anyway, what we know for sure about the iPhone 5S is that it will have the same design as it’s successor, the iPhone 5, and that it will be Apple’s first handset to come pre-loaded with iOS 7. Of course, like every year, there will be tons of improvements underneath the case of the iPhone 5S, but don’t expect a larger display. Talking about the iPhone 5S display, it was rumored that the next-gen iOS-powered smartphone will have twice as much pixels as its successor.
