iPhone 5S Rumor Mill – Champagne Casing , Better Camera, A7 Processor

The iPhone 5S rumor mill is filled again with all kind of suppositions and imaginations and we must admit that many of them actually seem realistic. However, now it is Apple’s turn to make a stand and confirm or infirm them.
Picture of an iPhone 5S wearing a champagne-like color. We can barely expect to see what surprises might Apple be cooking, which haven’t been discovered yet by neither the media nor the analysts.
So far, we seem to know everything about specs, colors and even release dates. Did we forget anything?
Actually, there is something.. these are all rumors: Apple hasn’t yet said a word. After all, you do need room for imagination when Apple is on the verge of releasing a new hit device.
Apple is allegedly going to make an event for the introduction of the new iPhone model on the 10th of September. In China, thanks to Japan’s Nikkei, it is widely expected for the iPhone 5S sales to begin starting with the 20th of September, even though some Chinese newspapers reported later that due to China’s verification process the release date is set sometime in late November.
So, here’s what we allegedly know regarding the top specs:
- Camera: One of the most appreciated feature of this device is certainly the camera. This is why it would need improving. Latest rumors claim that it will come with a larger f/2.0 aperture and dual LED flash. If this is true, it certainly means a lot more than what the iPhone 5 is packing. By allowing more light to get through, it renders an improved low-light performance and improved image quality.
- Home button with incorporated fingerprint reader: Apple bought in 2012 a company which produces technology for security systems, with main focus on fingerprint sensors/readers. So, thanks to AuthenTec the iPhone 5S will feature biometric tech, making electronic payments easier, as well as access to different Apple accounts such as the iCloud.
- Chips:Another brand new rumor is related to a 128 GB of flash storage. That seems a killer feature for most of the consumers, but if you think about it, even the 16 GB of storage space in the iPhone 3G seemed much at the time. We should also see the long rumored Apple A7 processor which is expected to be a 64-bit. The A5 processor of the iPhone 4S made its debut in October 2011.
- Standard support for 3G/4G connectivity: Models such as the iPhone 5S and 5C probably, might support the standard 4G TDD-LTE – or TD-SCDMA – connection available in China. If true, then Apple could gain a serious step forth in the penetration of China’s markets and even the global market share.
Oh, and another thing. The gold iPhone 5S which is expected to come along with its white and black versions. However, we’re not talking about a strong gold-like color, but rather an elegant champagne-like shading.
