iPhone 5s Rumor Mill Is Wicked Sick – Release Date September 20

More and more rumors regarding Apple’s next moves are surfacing the web environment lately. The main focus of these predictions is placed upon the upcoming arrival of the iPhone 5S (expected release date September 20) which already gathered an impressive number of fans who cannot wait to see all of these suppositions materialize into something real.
Dave Smith from the International Business Times is joining the game and predicts that the iPhone 5S, belonging to the sixth generation of Apple devices, will probably reach retail stores shelves this year, joined by the other long time rumored Apple device, the low end and colorful iPhone which has been created so that it could fit better in rising markets, and in smaller pockets.
Iphone 5S Release Date
And, as we mentioned above, here are some of the predictions for this fall. So, as Smith told us, the launch of the iPhone 5S is scheduled for the 20th of September, and it is also expected for Apple to present the new device during some event that will happen around the 10th of September. The low-end iPhone, regardless if it will be called iPhone 6, iPhone Light or iPhone Lil’, will have to wait another week or two before the official release, which might happen in the time frame between the 27th of September and the 4th of October.
The reason for which Smith is claiming the devices will be released around that date (because these are not random sayings) is that he believes Apple will most probably use the same time table for releasing the iOS7 it used when the official release of the iOS 6 was established, more precisely at 100 days after the presentation of the new operating system. So, if you add 100 days to the date when Tim Cook presented the new iOS 7, June 10 (at the WWDC event), you’ll get the costumer release date of the firmware, the 18th of September.
Those being said, it is very unlike Apple to release a new operating system without some new hardware to sport it. And this is the main reason why Apple is widely expected to come up with the new iPhone 5S at just a couple of days after the official launch of the iOS 7, namely on the 20th of September as Smith claims.
As for the release of Apple, low end iPhone device Smith believes that Apple is going to postpone its launch date with a few days, so that the lines in front of the retail stores wouldn’t get too long. After all, Apple would be releasing two flagship devices.
Do Smith’s predictions fit in the moves and steps Apple has been taking so far? Well, yes they do. As a matter of fact, a recent report published by the AppleInsider points out that a company which manufactures wireless chips, Avago Technologies began a teasing campaign in which they show that one of its biggest clients is getting ready for the release of a new device. A few analysts believe that large customer to be Apple, and the new device that will be released is a new indicator of the September iPhone 5S launch.
Glen Yeung from Citigroup, however has been recently claiming that the production of the iPhone 5S, has been postponed with two up to four weeks. This statement is based on a few discussions he heard among some manufacturers or suppliers belonging to the Apple supply chain.
Yeung also said that these rumors cannot preclude the iPhone 5S release date from September, but that we should expect low production volumes in September.
Regarding the low end iPhone, we suppose Apple is already working on it, as a new report from China Times mentions that some of the supplies for components are already being shipped. And this news comes just in time to go with the release dates from the fall, however we don’t know exactly. You will be seeing a lot more speculations during this summer, so stay tuned.
