We are now going to once more address the rumor mania that seems to be spreading more and more all around the world, transforming itself into a phenomena – and we are of course referring to the new products Apple is allegedly releasing this year, in 2013. Although everybody would rather know the real facts instead of believing all the rumors spreading in the industry, a big part of this predictions are actually a direct consequence of Apple’s strict over the years policy to not respond to rumors and clarify them, or to reveal their future product pipeline, so what’s left for everybody than to speculate on potential strategies and products. But I must advise you from the beginning to try to discern the information yourself as much as you can, because at the end of the day a rumor is a rumor and not a certainty and we have been proven along the years that not all rumors have been actually true. Repeatedly.

So a lot of rumors have been circulating recently, and we have all heard lately about the so rumored iPhone 5S (or even iPhone 6, as some people name it), and also about the cheaper version Apple is supposed to launch for emerging markets, like China for instance. Thus we are now going to discuss all of these iPhone versions in this article and we are also strictly going to bring into your attention another series of predictions spread by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who also speaks about the next generation of Apple iPhones that are to be supposedly launched in 2013.

So let’s start and look into it a little bit more, as it might be of great interest to you. It sure is exciting, if turned out to become reality. So you have perhaps already heard about KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. He is really into making predictions and he didn’t miss the opportunity to act accordingly when it comes to the next predictions for the current 2013 year. His predictions are not far however from the general opinion and he seems to be joining the barricade with the other analysts – he is pretty positive that all the rumors revolving around the company’s release of both the iPhone 5S and also of the cheaper version of the iPhone shall indeed translate into a reality sometime in 2013.

Now getting into business and “reading” Ming -Chi Kuo, we pick on some new interesting information. Ming-Chi Kuo states that the updates in what concerns the new iPhone 5S shall be done on its internals, but that there is no serious modifying brought in when it comes to the chassis chapter, which is pretty much the same that the iPhone 5 has. But things are not that simple and Ming -Chi Kuo also spices up things a little bit, bringing a novelty into the game, and he says that the new iPhone 5S will have a finger print sensor, so here is where the cool stuff comes in, right. If we really think about it, this rumor doesn’t seem to be too far from the truth if we correlate it to Apple’s recent acquisition of the biometric security company AuthenTech that they made exactly last year. Not only does he mention all these new features, but he also touches the topic of the camera when it comes to the new iPhone 5S, and he thinks that the iDevice will feature an improved camera and also have a more powerful A7 chip.

This is pretty much everything he speaks about regarding the so called iPhone 5S that has triggered so much interest worldwide. But let’s get on with the next topic of the discussion – and that is the already so universally rumored cheaper version of the iPhone, that is supposedly designed to address the emerging markets (and we mention China again on the list). Ok – when he mentions this new device then he also mentions that this one is expected to be available in no less than six colors, and besides this spectacular feature which might appeal to a lot of people (ladies in particular perhaps), he also says that the device will be very similar to the iPhone 5 but that it will have a plastic chassis that conveys its lower price. We don’t know exactly what to state when it comes to all these rumors, but at least general consensus seems to vote on the same features over and over again, hence consistency in all of the reports we have been witnessing lately can not be dismissed so easily. So all the analysts are on the same page when it comes to how many models of iPhones shall be released by Apple in 2013 – and they all mark two as the final number, and also the so called iPhone 5S and the cheaper iPhone are the winners in most cases. Whether there will be more than one color options we believe it’s true, but I am not so sure about the actual six colors spectrum of choices Ming Chi-Kuo is referring to.

All in all –  it all resumes to what will actually be released by the company, and leaving all rumors aside, this is what me and you and everybody else out there is interested in finding out. But in order to understand the context better, we need to first be updated with all the rumors that are spreading around in the business and by analysts, but also try to get the better picture of them all and not believe each and any one of them just in case they don’t turn out to be reality, a scenario which pretty much has the same chances like the positive one. The most popular of the rumors (and the ones that a lot of consumers and analysts try to feed) is that there are going to be two iPhone models launched by the famous Apple company in 2013 and that they will be released along one another: we have on the one hand the successor of the current iPhone 5, and this is the iPhone 5S, and then., on the other hand – the cheaper iPhone version that has triggered so much animosity by investors. We are surely very much curios to see what the actual facts of the story are, so come on Apple – enlighten us! We are really keen on finding this out.
