iPhone 6 And Low Budget iPhone 5S To Be Released This Summer?

A recent report suggests that Apple will release not only the iPhone 5S, which according to some rumors will be a low budget version of the iPhone 5, but also iPhone 6 in the immediate future. Unconfirmed rumors place the release date of both iPhones at around June, when the next version of Apple’s iOS will also be released.
The iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5 are expected to be mentioned (if not officially unveiled) at Apple’s WWDC (World Wide Developer’s Conference) that will be held next month. At the June 14 event, Apple will most likely present the next version of its mobile Operating System, the iOS 7.
There are voices that claim Apple will not release the iPhone 5S and release only the iPhone 6, this move being most likely accompanied by a price drop for the current iPhone 5. The other option would be to also release the iPhone 5S as a low budget alternative to the iPhone 5, the 5S model being aimed at those people that would not pay the current price for an iPhone but would be happy to own an iPhone for a lower price.
You have probably read countless rumors by now regarding the next generation iPhone’s specs. Some say it will have either a Retina display or it will be using Sharp’s IGZO tech. What we are certain about is the CPU – the next gen iPhone will use the A7 SoC with a quad core CPU, it will of course come equipped with iOS 7, will probably have a 128 MB version, a 13 MP camera and a battery that will last more than the current iPhone’s battery. The current iPhone 5 does not have support for NFC (a technology that is rising in popularity) and we are not sure if the next gen iPhone will have support for NFC but we think so. The cheaper iPhone version, the iPhone 5S is rumored to come equipped with a dual core processor, a 4 inch screen and a 8 MP camera.
Tim Cook (CEO at Apple) recently said that Apple will not release any new device before this year’s fall. What we can deduce from this is that the next generation iPhone (or iPhones) will probably be launched during the fall, as Tim Cook mentions: “Our teams are hard at work on some amazing new hardware, software, and services that we can’t wait to introduce this fall and throughout 2014.”
There were also rumors about delays for these upcoming devices and it would seem that these rumors are true. Some analysts suggested that Apple’s upcoming smarptohnes are going to be delayed due to production problems. In contrast to what these analysts said, a few recent reports suggest that all Apple suppliers have the components required for manufacturing the next generation iPhones, which would support the Summer release theory. Of course, all these are rumors and should be taken with a grain of salt. Apple, as you know, does not comment on such rumors so before any of these devices is officially unveiled, we only have these rumors.
