iPhone 6 Release Date And Expected Specs

Now that the iPhone 5S is out, we can’t help wondering when will the iPhone 6 be released on the marked. In the following article we have summarized every worth knowing rumor related to iPhone 6 new features, specs and release date.
We have to tell you that our previous articles regarding the release of the iPhone 5C and the iPhone 5S have turned out to be exact, and just as we predicted and successfully reported, Apple added a new cheaper iPhone to their product line up, and to the iPhone 5S they added the dual flash, the fingerprint reader, a better battery and improved camera. Even the photo leaks we have shown you in the past were real. So, hoping that we will have the same accuracy in predicting the upcoming features of the iPhone 6 as we did with its predecessor, here are the information available now.
The iPhone 6 will arrive in 2014
Considering that Apple’s release dates coincide almost every year, we tend to believe that this time is going to be the same. Meaning that the iPhone 6 will arrive in the same time frame the iPhone 5 did.
And while history’s registers predict a new iPhone launch in September or October next year, we believe this time Apple will approach things differently and launch a new flagship device sometimes around August or July 2014. Similar to the iPad 4 release, which came eight months later than its previous version. Normally, new iPads arrived at nearly 11 or 12 months apart at the time. However, this is just a hunch, most of the analysts predict an arrival in September – October next year.
Features Apple might add to the next iPhone
One of the first suggestions of this kind we could find was integrating NFC technology in the iPhone 6.
However, this request is not new and Apple’s first response was that the iPhone doesn’t need it as long as it can use the on-air transmission which is just as fast.
Should we expect a bigger screen with iPhone 6?
Maybe Apple will finally release the iPhablet and will surprise its fans with a new display of 5 to 6 inches. If you take a look at their product series, you notice that the phablet is the only thing missing from their portfolio. And when thinking about the iPhablet concept, you realize that the possibilities are huge and that this device could really give competition something to think about.
As mentioned above, there are people who expect Apple to add at least one more inch to iPhone’s current 4.9 inch display. Brian White from Cantor Fitzgerald said that if before the meeting he had doubts regarding the display increase, after it he knows for sure that Apple will make this move. Apple Insider was the first to report this while adding that we will certainly see the iPhone 6 in 2014.
iPhone 6 with expandable memory
It is very unlikely for Apple to change the actual system, especially when their pricing are based on the memory capacity and they provide a cloud service. However, given the convenience of such a feature people keep asking for it. And we must admit, Apple would really gain a lot of market ground by allowing users to personalize differently the capacity of the memory. No matter how beautiful it sounds, it is hardly likely to happen.
New feature: iPhone 6 with wireless charging
We’re sure you know that Samsung already offers this feature, while some other smartphone manufacturers have announced their intent to build similar device. Frankly, we’re surprised Apple didn’t include this feature before Samsung.
How about an iPhone model with flexible screen?
Well, for now that’s still an over the top request. However, Samsung might deliver the first smartphone with flexible screen in 2014. If everything sorts out well with the first flexible screen smartphone, we believe Apple will play along and adopt the technology. We sure know a lot of people who broke their iPhone displays.
