iPhone 6 Rumor Roundup: Release Date, Price And Specifications

iPhone 6 400x250 iPhone 6 Rumor Roundup: Release Date, Price And Specifications

The newest rumors are saying that the next phone that Apple will release, isn’t going to be iPhone 6, yet, they will update the actual iPhone 5, releasing an iPhone 5s, so, most probably we won’t see major changes coming along.

Even if we’re talking about iPhone 5s or iPhone 6, Apple seriously needs to come up with some new features, a new design or anything that will have a major impact for the costumers, since the iPhone 5 wasn’t such an amazing device right from the start (remember the problems that Apple Maps had when iPhone 5 came out, and its hardware wasn’t such a big improvement from the iPhone 4s). Considering Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One got some amazing and breathtaking features and designs, Apple seriously needs to come out with something new, something better.

The first release date for the iPhone 6 was settled to be in the spring of 2013, after the iPhone 5s would’ve been released (we don’t even have the iPhone 5s released yet). iPhone 6 is going to be released somewhere in 2014, but, iPhone 5s release date is getting delayed, again, suggesting that pre-production issues are dogging the company, as Peter Misek, an analyst at Jeffries said after he recently visited one of Apple’s manufacturing partners. As you all thought, a delay on the iPhone 5s also means that iPhone 6 is going to be delayed, so Misek himself said that we got no chance on seeing the iPhone 6 released until 2014.

Another analyst, Glen Yeung agrees with Misek on the iPhone 6 not going to be released until 2014, because, as he says, if Apple suffers from “volume production issues”, they won’t be able to satisfy the costumers needs so fast.

Some reports say that important members of the staff have left, which could be another reason to delay the release date for the two devices.

Because Apple uses Retina screen there is no point to make the resolution better. So, most probably, iPhone 6 is going to have a bigger screen than the other iPhones. Which would be just great, since the latest smartphones with huge screen are making the costumers very happy about their huge screen resolution phones.

The rumors nowadays are telling us that iPhone 6 will come with a 4.8 inch screen size, a size which is similar to Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One, and we all want an iPhone with such a big screen! Apple understood that some costumers would prefer a phone with a good hardware but not with a big screen, so, probably iPhone 5s will be Apple’s alternative for their iPhone 6 (that meaning, iPhone 5s will have similar hardware features as iPhone 6, but a smaller screen).

Apple is thinking about a thinner screen and having the Home button completely removed, making the iPhone 6 shorter, having the front face of the phone just for the screen (that will be amazing!).

A new rumor got all of us dreaming for the iPhone 6, the Flexible Display! We  saw that Apple posted a job advert, searching for someone with experience on the flexible screens mechanism. If the iPhone 6 is going to have a flexible screen, it will surely be an amazing designed iPhone!

iPhone 5s’s camera will be a 12 mega-pixel one, an improvement for the 8 mega-pixel camera that the iPhone 5 currently has. And it doesn’t even match the camera of Samsung Galaxy S4 or HTC One. Also, rumors are saying that the iPhone 6 may come with a better camera than the iPhone 5s will have!

Misek is saying that iPhone 6 will have his maximum storage of 128 GB, up from 64 GB that the iPhone 5 got. And the rumors may be true, since iPad 4 also got a maximum storage of 128 GB. More space on your phone is more than welcome at any time. But they  will probably drop the 16 GB model, and there will be only iPhone 6 with 32/64/128 GB storage.

Apple’s iPhone 6 may come with an indoor mapping system. Yeah, it sounds silly since we already got a GPS feature, but for that to be accurate you need to be outside of a building, so you are in the same line of sight with the satellited. Could be really useful when you are inside a museum, visiting it, or inside an airport.

iPhone 6 may come with a luminance shock protection, which is a feature that detects if you’re inside a dark room and receive a message, or something that makes the screen suddenly turn on at full brightness, will instead reduce the brightness of your screen so you won’t get “shocked” by the light. Pretty nice feature.

If the lastest rumors and speculations about iPhone 6′s processor turn out to be true, we’re going to have a quad-core A7 processor, better than the dual-core A6 processor that the iPhone 5 has. The iPhone 5s will most probably have a tweaked A6 processor. But yea, that’s also good, since iPhone 5 is the smoothest phone that we’ve ever seen.

Most probably, Apple will launch iOS 7 when for their iPhone 6, because we seriously need a new iOS, since almost nothing has changed with the iOS 6. Okay, we just had the Apple Maps, which was absolutely catastrophic.

Apple usually releases their new models with the same price they released their old models, so most probably we’re going to have 32GB model to cost £529, the 64GB model £599 and the 128GB model £699.
