Larger Screen iPhone 6 Release Date June 2014

iPhone 6 400x250 Larger Screen iPhone 6 Release Date June 2014

Have you always wanted a larger iPhone device? Then no need for you to hold your horses anymore according to analyst Peter Misek, who foresees a larger screen iPhone 6 to be released on the 6th o June 2014.

This is something a lot of people have been waiting for a long time now and desires have not been kept aside even if Apple has come up with their 4-inch add to the iPhone line of products back in 2012. A bigger iPhone 6 is wanted, and that’s a fact. We all know Donald Trump. He is one of the militants for a bigger iPhone and has stated under different occasions that he would be very happy using an larger screen iPhone 6.

But let’s see Apple officials’ say on the matter. We head straight to the very top and forward Tim Cook’s statement according to which a larger screen for Apple products is yet not in the cards for the company as long as the current compromises are still applicable. However on the other hand we have a different type of reports that highlight the company shall embrace a larger screen sometime during next year.

One reliable source – analyst Peter Misek of Jefferies & Company has given his view on the topic to the Financial Post: he marks the 6th of June as the release of a new bigger iPhone 6. He furthermore concludes that if we take into consideration the amount of time necessary to adjust the display technology behind the devices, the time frame up to the alleged release is actually quite reasonable. This is just to get you all fans out there a bit more patient.

As you can see, the topic is pretty controversial at this stage: who to believe, Apple’s top guy or various other predictions running around in the building? Let’s go back to Tim Cook’s explanation. To back up his statement he starts from the premise that what Apple always prioritizes is the display quality, although size might sometimes be worth more for their users. Other customers might think of quality being reflected in a great resolution, image, colors, battery usage, application incorporation and so on. here is where the difference between Apple and the rest of the actors on the markets stands: while Apple is not willing to make any compromises for a bigger display as long as the current trade-offs are still applicable, the rest of the companies operating in the field were willing to do so just to launch a large display.

So there is no definite cancellation of the possibility of Apple coming up with a larger screen for its iPhone line of products, however the time for this to happen has not yet arrived, and Cook’s statements lead us to believing that they are planning on this as soon as all the steps are met. This is exactly what the case with the LTE devices and with the feedback given in advance to the launching of the iPad mini on 7-inch tablets was – they were not confirming anything, but not declining the possibility of that happening either.

And Misek is not the only one who backs this idea up. June 2014 is believed to be the launching the date for an upcoming large iPhone 6 device as well by a number o different outlets and reports (including the ones in DigiTimes). The so called large iPhone would sport a Reina display (its diagonal would raise up to five inches).

Coming back to what we know at this stage, we are to be experiencing a release of the iPhone 5S next, which would sport a series of updates in terms of camera (iSight) and even scanner, featuring a fingerprint one. This launch has been postponed a bit and we should now be seeing it happen sometime in the autumn.
