Not sure if you had the chance to check out yesterday’s leaked picture allegedly showcasing the front plate of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, but no worries – the picture was not the real thing, that’s for sure. What it actually showcased was not the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 front plate, but the front plate from a super large Android device – the Zopo ZP950. It is true that there are certain similarities between the two devices, but saying that the picture belonged to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is farfetched and also very misleading, for a matter of fact.

As a response to the leaked pic, SamMobile has admitted there is no truth to the picture belonging to the Galaxy Note 3. However an inside source of theirs did confirm that there are 3 prototypes of the Galaxy Note 3 around and about, and in what concerns 1 of this bunch, the same source revealed that it features a flexible OLED screen.

Furthermore, 1 of the 3 is also said to be sharing similar design features with the Samsung Galaxy S4, and they also mention that it has a small bezel as well that shall enable a bigger sized screen. We even have a conceptual image of this picon the web if you are interested in checking it out.
This was it for 2 of the 3 alleged prototypes that circulate around. The 3rd one is supposed to come up with a different approach in terms of concept and to introduce a really modern and cool design, so I am really curious to see this one.

When it comes to the source of the rumors, we do tend to believe SamMobile as their background has always been pretty reliable, and if we think about it, we are not exactly discussing facts on the completed devices, but concepts attributed to their prototype.

But don’t hold your breath until the rumors get confirmed, as Samsung is not in a hurry to do this. Experts state that they are most likely to publicly come out with news during an upcoming Unpacked event this year, and speculations around the timeframes revolve around the evening of the IFA Electronics Trade Show that is going to happen in Berlin this fall.
