New Leaked Photos of the Cheap iPhone Hits the Web

The budget iPhone seems to be more real than ever, especially now that a new series of photos of the low-end iOS-powered smartphone has hit the web just a couple of hours after the cases of same handset have been caught on camera. Now we get to see it in even more body colors, courtesy of nowhereelse.fr.
Besides that Kermit-coloured iPhone now we get to see a yellow and red case, with the black Apple logo on the back, and a microphone hole between the camera and the LED flash. Considering the alleged color options for the budged iPhone, personally I am expecting the iOS-powered handset to aim at the youths below 20 years and to those who want to stand out with their glamorous smartphone.
Until now, if you wanted a smartphone with an unusual color, you would purchase a Nokia Lumia, but it seems that Apple wants to become cool again.
Many of the analysts and Apple fans are seeing the company’s approach for the low-end segment as a sacrilege, a transition from premium products-only to products for the “common man.” Personally, I kind of like the idea of an “iPhone for everyone,” especially because the prices of the latest iPhone models were always… errrr… prohibitive.
Of course, the cheap iPhone will not probably be cheap, as it will probably have a price tag around $400.
What’s your opinion about Apple’s decision to approach the low-end smartphone segment? Is it a move in the wrong direction? Should have apple stuck with the premium handsets? Use the comments section below to shout out.
