PhoneArena Reports that Galaxy Note 4 Runs 2 Hours Longer Without Recharging than the iPhone 6 Plus

Due to a series of benchmarks, it has been proved lately that the iPhone 6 equipped with a dual-core A8 processor is the fastest smartphone on the market. Reporters decided to test the battery life of the Apple flagship device and compare it to that of its competitors. In particular, the iPhone 6 Plus and Galaxy Note 4 batteries were put to the test.
Phonearena tested the Galaxy Note 4 model based on a 64-bit Exynos 5433 processor. Compared with its predecessor, the battery capacity of the Korean phablet increased by 20 mAh and now makes up 3220 mAh. The battery capacity of iPhone 6 Plus is 2915 mAh.
Experts measured the battery life with the battery being full at the beginning and run-down at the end of the test by running a custom script. This testing technology replicates the power consumption of the typical real-life usage of the smartphone as precisely as possible.
According to the results of the test, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was able to run 8 hours 43 minutes continuously, while the iPhone 6 Plus battery life lasted 6 hours 32 minutes.
Phonearena spotted that the full charge of the Korean device will take 95 minutes; the time needed to charge the ??iPhone 6 Plus was not measured. Despite the novelty from Apple comes with a 1 Amp adapter, it is known that the device is compatible with power supplies of higher capacity. Thus, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus recharge faster when using 2.1 Amp adapters.
