Professional Photographer Claims iPhone 6 Can Easily Replace Regular Cameras

Pavel Samokhvalov, a professional photographer and filmmaker, has praised the new Apple smartphone, reports Vozduh. After a weeklong iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus testing he came to the conclusion that the novelties can perfectly replace regular still and video cameras.
According to the photographer, the pictures taken with the iPhone 6 became better, purer, and more intensive than they used to be. They seem to be more airy, at least in close-up and macro photographs. The iPhone 6 Plus camera is slightly better due to the optical image stabilization. By the way, it refocuses discernibly faster.
You can already dispose of regular cameras. Forget DSLR and compact-size cameras. With the iPhone, you can shoot whatever and whenever you like, whether it is a photo or a video of any genre, and share it to the world straight away.
The photographer highlighted the updated iPhone Camera app, which enables adjusting both the focus and the exposition. He advised professionals to use ProCamera 8. It has a variety of features that enable you to unfold your creativity to the fullest. You can change the color temperature, vibrancy, or the number of frames per second.
He reports that there is a lot of extra features for photographers, such as the night mode (improves the shadow brightness), and the self-timer (runs with the complete steadiness of the phone’s position). It is very useful in bad light, as the exposure automatically becomes longer and you cannot avoid blurring images.
Samokhvalov paid particular attention to the iPhone 6 battery life. He told that the battery lasted two times longer than that of the iPhone 4S he owns. The photographer recalled having to carry around an external battery, as he could only shoot a video lasting from an hour and a half to a maximum of two hours. The new iPhone was capable of almost four hours of continuous shooting.
