Razer Junglecat Gamepad for iPhone 5/5s will be Out in July
The Razer company, a well-known gaming peripherals and software manufacturer, has announced Razer Junglecat gamepad for iOS devices. It is the company’s first product for mobile devices.
The Razer developers worked a lot on the Junglecat controller design to ensure fits seamlessly with the sleek unibody design of the iPhone. As a result, they created a sliding form factor device, and managed to free more space on the front part of the panel attached to the smartphone. High functionality of the AXBY, D-pad and side buttons allowed achieving this. Razer Junglecat controller can be left attached to a smartphone, as all buttons and slots remain accessible in its compact form.
A downloadable iOS app with the same name comes with Razer Junglecat. It allows setting a function for each button and adjusting the pressure sensitivity according to your preferences. Users can save up to 20 setting profiles from which they can choose the most suitable for a certain game.
With the help of iOS application for Razer Junglecat, a user can choose App Store applications which he thinks most suitable taking into account iOS-controller, whether it?s Razer Junglecat or other Razer controller compatible with iOS.
Razer Junglecat can be used with iPhone 5/5s as a wireless controller for other Apple products. The size of the device is 150 x 65 x 18 mm. The novelty goes on sale in July.
“Game development broke into the mobile sphere dashingly showcasing products of amazingly high quality and an unprecedented pace, and the number of console gamers using iOS or other mobile devices to play shows a tendency to increase every day, – said Tang Min Llano, Razer co-founder, CEO and creative director. – We took the opportunity to create an elegant and powerful game controller for iPhones enthusiastically and look forward to sharing this joy. “
