Retina iPad Mini Release Date Probably Q3 2013

This Monday came up with some new fresh rumors, related to Apple`s iPad Mini release date. It seems like, a new report appeared from Asia`s area, and it claims that Apple is planning to release a new Retina iPad mini at the end of this year. More than this, the report says that the old 9.7 inch iPad, will have an improved look, an aluminum design, similar to iPad`s mini, a slighter frame and a smaller bezel.
As we could find out, even though the shipments for Apple`s normal version of iPad4, considerably decreased from 60 million items to 33 million items, the iPad mini demand hasn`t suffered any decrease since its release. And, as you probably know, the release was in October, last year.
Now, the Apple company aims for a new target, concerning the iPad mini sale in 2013. They want to reach shipment of 55 million iPad mini units, and we think this is possible if we look back at the production issues Apple has had because of the production of the display. But as we told you in some previous articles, this problem was solved in February, so nothing stands in iPad`s mini way right now.
So, it might be possible to see a new Apple gadget this Fall, as a few analysts already mentioned in the past.
As far as we know, iPad mini 2 would be able to upgrade to Retina technology, and the awesome part is that the upgrade won`t affect the performances of the device or its portability. Even more, if Apple would switch to Sharp`s power-savvy IGZO panels and a new improved A5X chip ( which already was implemented in Apple`s TV).
As we could find out from Macotakara`s blog, a Monday CNYes report notes that Apple is not worried about iPad`s mini growing shipments over its full version sell, because until the end of the year, the higher margin will be the same.
From the same blog, we found that, it might be possible for Apple to encounter some productions issues, related to iPad 5 and this means the device will probably be limited on sale for a while. This might be true, considering the decrease of the overall iPad shipments to 88 million units, from the initially 100 million. So, we expect the production to start somewhere in the summer, because the Faxconn factories are already storing components.
All these info, were found in the latest report of the NPD DisplaySearch as well. The NPD company, established its report from the mobile panel shipments. They studied the numbers, and concluded that Apple cut down the 9.7 inch iPad`s shipments to 1.3 million items from 7.4 million in the interval of December 2012 – January this year, but it`s also true that the iPad mini shipments grew up over 5 million units.
We`ve paid attention to the words of a DisplaySearch analyst, who told to Cnet that he waits for a Retina iPad mini release in the second part of 2013.
As far as we could find out from the supply chain chat, it seems like Apple bought the Retina iPad mini panels from LG Displat, AU Optronics and Japan Display. This means that there will be a fusion between mobile display actions of Hitachi, Sony and Toshiba combined with the Innovation Network Corporation of Japan.
According to IDC, the overall sell of the Android tablets will not reach the level of iPad sell, in 2013.
