It seems that starting yesterday ?the smart phone market has been extended with the release of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. ?The model, along with the Samsung Galaxy Gear (which is the smart watch released by the company) is available starting today for purchase. At the moment the UK customers can fully enjoy the 2 devices.
Still, the ones who were in a hurry to have these devices could have already pre-ordered them from Samsung’s store. Also, the?Phones4U and Carphone Warehouse had these items at pre-sale, the two giving you the possibility to get?a range of deals via UK networks.
If you are interested in the Phones4U offer, then you will be able to purchase the Galaxy Note 3 on tariffs with EE???79 for the phone, but with a 2 years (24 month) contract. The contract will have unlimited texts and minutes, plus 2GB of 4GB data at??41 per month. The Vodafone lovers can buy the device with a similar offer from the carrier.

If you want to buy the Galaxy Note 3 directly from Samsung, you can do this with???649, the advantage being that it is SIM-free. Also, you can find the Galaxy Gear smart watch at the price of???299, on its own.
We think that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a winner in its category, being able to combine all the cool things in the Galaxy Note series, having a great design and a more polished overall aspect. Until the full review,we will not mention the camera or the S-Pen functions. Still, the product shall make the customers happy, for sure.
When it comes to the Galaxy Gear, we have to say that it is made from brushed metal – here we refer to the browny color. The strap seems to be made out of banded flexible plastic. Because of this aspect, Samsung declared that the Galaxy Gear device has been developed in order to confer comfort for the whole day. Still, we were not able to test it out, so this is not yet confirmed.
If you are interested in the comfort, well, the strap feels a bit gross and we expect the next models to have different finishes. Also, there is the rear of the watch body which would be in c0ntact with the wrist when wearing the device. In a world where Samsung talked about replacing the old with the new, it is a bit unpleasant to see the plastic back on the watch, so the same concept of shiny, slippery plastic as it was on the other Samsung Note generations of devices.
If you are interested in buying both devices, then you can have the package for??848, which means a saving of??100 from the cost of buying both separately. This sounds like a great deal, so we recommend you to go for it if you really need both devices.
More about the Samsung Galaxy Note 3: the device has a?Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz with 3GB of RAM, a 5.7-inch Super?AMOLED?display with a full HD 1920×1080 pixel resolution and full 4G connectivity. The battery is a?3,200mAh battery pack; it also has ?microSD?support for cards up to 64GB. The operating system, the Android 4.3. Jelly Bean comes to complete the scenery, with?Samsung?s TouchWiz UI on top.
You will be happy to see that the device comes with the S-Pen Stylus – complete with Wacom’s technology. Samsung has some surprises in store for its customers and we refer here to features, such as?Multiscreen multitasking, windowed applications and the Air Command radial menu.
Last but not least, the onboard cameras have 13 mega pixels ?for the back and 2 mega pixels for front, having extra the??Dual Shot, plus full HD 1080p video capture.
Did we convince you in trying one of the devices? Or maybe both of them?
