Galaxy Note 34 400x250 Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Release Date Is Officially September 4

It’s official now! The Samsung manufacturing company has made an official announcement related to the release date of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, which was set for September 4 this year. Actually, the company announced its Unpacked event which is expected to take place this September in Berlin.

If you remember, we’ve already announced you about the release of the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3  around September 4, and the information was received from a Samsung employee. Further more the same person told us that the South Korean company will announce in August a particular Samsung Unpacked event that will take place on September 4, in Germany – Berlin. So, we have waited from June 28th ( when the announce was made)  for the Galaxy Note 3 to be unveiled during the already mentioned event.

Well, here we are in August and the Samsung Unpacked 2013 event was confirmed for the date of September 4, in Berlin. Now, we must mention that the release of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was not officially announced on Samsung’s Twitter, but they mentioned us to keep the date in mind.

According to their note, the upcoming Samsung Unpacked 2013 Episode 2 conference, can be seen live on , so if you are interested in seeing the new Galaxy Note once announced you can visit that link on September 4 at 13:00 EDt or 19:00 CET.

Now, we know that the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be released in about a month from now, but we must say that we’ve found out almost all about the future flagship phablet from Samsung.

According to the rumors, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is expected to have a similar design with the current Samsung Galaxy S4, the difference being made by the larger display which will probably make the phablet look like a maximized Samsung Galaxy S4. Anyway, the upcoming Galaxy Note 3 is expected to be a bit slimmer, tighten and slighter than the Galaxy Note 2.

According to some rumors, the Galaxy Note 3 was expected to be released sporting a 5.9-inch display, but if we take a look at the most fresh reports it seems that the new phablet will come out with a 5.7-inch screen featuring a full HD resolution. Moreover, the new device is waited to be released sporting a Super AMOLED display, but the rumors said something about a Galaxy Note 3 version that features an IPS LCD screen. If this proves to be true, it means that the new phablet will be released on the market in two variants: the IPS LCD Note 3 and the AMOLED Galaxy Note 3 version.

When it comes to the hardware platform, reports say that the upcoming Galaxy Note 3 is running the Exynos 5 Octa chipset, but we must mention that we couldn’t find out exactly which version of the Exynos we’re talking about: the current Exynos 5410 running on Galaxy S4 or the fresh Exynos 5420 which brings along 20% improved performance and various fixes.  This chipset is sporting four Cortex A7 cores running at 1.3 GHz – meaning 100 MHz upper than the Exynos 5410, and four Cortex A15 running at 1.8 GHz- which means 200 MHz upper than the Exynos 5410. Moreover, the new Exynos 5420 has replaced the PowerVR SGX 544MP3 GPU with a better and powered up by eight cores Mali T628 graphics processing unit.

As we saw in the case of the Galaxy S4, the Qualcomm will always power a Galaxy Note 3.  The future device will sport a Snapdragon 800 SoC, running a quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 CPU and a Adreno 320 GPU. Knowing these we should expect significant references scores along with the handset.

According to the rumors, the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 could be one of the first smartphones featuring 3GB of RAM. As far as we know the new G2 from LG was reported to be released with the same RAM amount of 3 GB.

If the Galaxy Note 3 will be released sporting the Snapdragon 800 chipset we should expect to see a LTE-A support as well, among the connectivity features that are expected to be seen in a high-end handset such as: NFC chip, 4G LTE, IR blaster, HSPA +, microUSB 2.0, and Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy.

Moreover, the mill rumor says that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will sport a better camera sensor, but we should mention that we believe it is most likely for the new handset to take the 13 megapixel camera placed on the rear of the current Samsung Galaxy S4. Along with the camera, some other camera apps will be borrowed such as Cinema Photo, Dual Shot, Sound and Shot, and Drama Shot.

Taking into consideration that Samsung said not long ago that they acquired 5% of the Wacom shares which is a Japanese graphic tablets based manufacturing company having the stylus input, the upcoming Galaxy Note 3 it is expected to be released sporting a better S Pen along with fresh apps and software features.

Besides this, we truly hope that the new device will come with a bigger battery under its coat.

Another great news is that Google finally made official its new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean last month, so the software experts working at Samsung should have the time to customize the new firmware for their Galaxy Note 3.  Anyway, Samsung’s proprietary TouchWiz Nature UX interface will run on the phablet as well, over the Android 4.3.

It’s a tough competition when it comes to the phablets market this year. The people are expecting two new devices to be released: the HTC  One Max phablet and the Galaxy Note 3, while another two were already announced: the Sony Xperia Z Ultra and the LG Optimus G Pro. Please feel free to give us your feedback related to the matter. Which one of these phablets you believe will stay on top of users preferences?
