Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Will Feature 3GB of RAM

Galaxy Note 31 400x250 Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Will Feature 3GB of RAM

As far as we know from the Korean news sources, it looks like the new Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will come out sporting 3GB of RAM, which means improved speed when it comes to multitasking and stylus feature.

According to the reports from Hankyung – a Korean tech news site it seems that the new Galaxy Note 3 will include the LTE-A feature (LTE Advanced), which means that the device should sport a Qualcomm 800 quad-core processor. But, considering that this chip set was seen in the past along with handsets sporting 2 GB of RAM not 3GB, we are not that sure where did this info came from. As you probably know, the Snapdragon 800 chip can be timed up to 2.3GHz.

Moreover, the same information was confirmed by SamMobile, which is a trusty source when it comes to Samsung news and it said that the same info came from some inside sources of them. The same source claims that the new handset will come out having 8mm thickness and a weight of  183g, which means the device will be slighter than the Sony Xperia Z Ultra even though it will be thicker with 2mm.

As far as we know from GMSArena, it looks like Samsung already  designed 4GB RAM  having 20 nanometre semiconductors. This means that Samsung was tweaking a bit if we think of the fact that Qualcomm chips are coming out as a cohesive unit having the RAM and the Adreno GPU (graphics processing units) of the chip manufacturer itself.

According to the latest rumors, Samsung is planning a Samsung Unpacked event that will take place in Berlin – Germany on September 4, in the same location and just a few days before the well known IFA 2013 event.  As you remember, the executives from Samsung said that their new Galaxy Note 3 will be announced during the annual tech event as it always was in the last few years, but considering this new unpacked event organized by Samsung, we are tempted to believe that the device will be announced here and it will be presented after that during the conference days.

Moreover, the Galaxy Note 3 is expected to come out sporting a 13-megapixel camera that may include OIS – optical image stabilisation and a 5.9-inch Full HD Super AMOLED screen.
