Samsung Galaxy S5 Release Date, Specs And Rumors: Plastic Case, Faux Leather Back and Better Camera

New rumors regarding the Samsung Galaxy S5 have come out saying that it will most likely have an old design but a new camera feature. The question on everyone’s lips right now is will Samsung Galaxy S5 continue the plastic trend that has been going on recently? As recent news from the GalaxyS5Info report, The Samsung Galaxy S5 may be going for a different look this year. It seems that the faux leather stick back cover is what’s trending now, and that is what it might adopt. It is also what the Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Round are currently wearing. So what this really means is that the Galaxy S5 will continue to have the same polycarbonate casing for which Samsung is so famous for.
Even though reports have indicated that Samsung is getting ready to launch a device made of metal it is becoming rather clear that the Galaxy S5 may not be that device. Whilst Samsung prepares itself to close a deal with metal suppliers that will aid it in producing chassis for a brand, new device that is anticipated to launch sometime next year, there are rumors out there saying that the device will actually be called the “Samsung Galaxy F.”
This mysterious device is considered one that will offer Samsung clients the smooth, high quality design they have long desired. It is also expected that the Galaxy S5 will remain on board as plastic device to bring in new software elements to Samsung.
It appears that certain sources have apparently told GalaxyS5Info that the Galaxy S5 will be accessible in a multitude of colors that include amongst others: Pink, Lime and Yellow. This is very much like Apple’s launch of the iPhone 5C, one would think. Given that fact that it too is made of plastic and comes in many exciting, lively colors. The iPhone 5S is on the other hand is equipped with aluminum and also comes in 3 top quality metallic colors.
What’s more, stories also would suggest the Samsung Galaxy S5 may launch much earlier than predicted. The estimated date is likely to be somewhere in February 2014. But if this were to be true, it would mean that Samsung is setting up to launch another gadget later that year. But to no one’s surprise these recent rumors, including the latest have not been confirmed.
To our best knowledge in the field, GalaxyS5Info is famously not a recognised or trustworthy provider of leaks. Nevertheless, this piece of news that may also be called a rumor brings a debatable take on the advancement of the Galaxy S5 release.
Given undeniable the fact that many competing companies have made serious changes to their devices recently, we can’t really predict what Samsung has prepared for its future, impending devices.
Should we expect a 16-MP Camera For the Samsung Galaxy S5?
In the mean time, there have been several reports from Korea that say the Samsung Galaxy S5 may have a special feature when it comes out. We are talking about ta 16-mepapixel CMOS camera sensor that according to ETNews is a way to fight off competition. Samsung’s system LSI division is now the official rival of Sony in competing against who will build Samsung’s next mobile lens.
And to all of those you don’t know this yet, Sony is kind of famous for developing the high-pixel camera sensors that now currently exist on the Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy Note 3. According to reports Samsung System LSI is now currently working on many camera sensors, which include a 13-megapixel lens with optical image stabilization and an 8-megapixel lens with ISOCELL technology. The later is said to reduce glare and noise in low-light conditions. This would indeed make System LSI a mutually powerful competitor against Sony to create the Galaxy S5 camera lens.
Based on reports by the same ETNews, the 16-mepapixel lens is still in its beginning and should still be subject to further development. Samsung is also thought to decide on a supplier by the end of this year, but we will let you know more as news comes in. Rumors regarding the Galaxy S5 camera are not confirmed yet, as we have mentioned before and are still quite controversial as they contradict the latest reports that were quite popular: the aforementioned 13-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization. As we have said before, the Galaxy S5 is still rather early in its pre-release so it is very difficult to separate the truth from the lies. In a similar case not so long ago the Galaxy Note 3 was reported to come out with a 16-megapixel camera early in its prerelease. Nonetheless, the device came out in the end with a 13-megapixel lens. Rumors went on to say that this was due to the Samsung’s component shortages.
So what’s your take on this story? What do you think the Samsung Galaxy S5 will surprise you with?
