Samsung India Accepting Galaxy Gear And Galaxy Note 3 Pre-orders

At the beginning of this month, on September 4th at the IFA event in Berlin, Samsung unveiled the third generation Galaxy Note phablet but also its first smart watch, the Samsung Galaxy Gear. The South Korean company is already accepting preorder for both the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Smasung Galaxy Gear, in India. As Samsung initially announced, India is among the markets that will receive the two devices during the first phase of the release, on September 25th.
Samsung India’s e-store is already taking preorder for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phablet, the price being 2,000 Indian Rupee. The customers that preorder will pay the rest of the amount on September 25th, when the phablet will be released.
However, while the Samsung Galaxy Gear smart watch is available for preorder, it cannot be preordered by itself. Samsung only accepts preorders for the Galaxy Gear bundled with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phablet, at least for now. To preorder both the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Samsung Galaxy Gear you will also have to pay 2,000 Indian Rupee. Samsung India did not yet offer a price tag for the two devices. However, it is speculated that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phablet will be available for 45,000 Indian Rupee, while the Samsung Galaxy Gear smart watch will come with a price tag of 20,000 Indian Rupee.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be released with a 5.7 inch display (bigger than its predecessors’), an octo core CPU clocked at 1.9 GHz, a 13 MP camera sensor, a 3,200 mAh battery and it will be running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. It also comes with 4 GB of RAM, being the first smartphone / phablet in the world to offer this much RAM. Oh and as you would expect, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 comes with a new S Pen stylus (a trademark of the Galaxy Note series) and many new features for it (such as task preview).
The Samsung Galaxy gear will be released with a 1.6 inch Super AMOLED display and a 1.9 MP camera. Samsung’s Galaxy Gear can make phone calls, capture phots and videos and also show ntoifications (such as SMS, social network updates, health date and more). At the moment, the Samsung Galaxy Gear smart watch is only compatible with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Note 10.1; however, it is expected to be updated to work with other Samsung devices, such as the current flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the second generation Galaxy Note.
