Samsung Sold 10 Million Galaxy S5 Smartphones

According to the South Korean media reports, Samsung has managed to sell 10 million Galaxy S5 flagship smartphones. The novelty took 25 days to achieve this benchmark, whereas it took its predecessor 27 days to do the same. For comparison, the Galaxy S3 hit the goal of 10 million items sold in 50 days, and the Galaxy S2 ? in 5 months. It should be noted that the Galaxy S5 made debut in 125 countries simultaneously.
The fact that the pace of sales of the Galaxy S5 and the Galaxy S4 have almost equaled confirms what analysts’ feared about ? there is glut in the market of flagship devices. It is assumed that the sales of flagship devices will start declining in the coming years; therefore, the producers now have to begin to look for new ways to attract users attention to their products. Analysts believe that the low-cost yet reliable smartphones with quite advanced range of functions will be popular among the customers, but the flagship solutions are not going away and will continue to be in demand in the future.
