Sony Presented a Module that Turns Any Eyewear Smart

Sony has announced the development of a gadget called SmartEyeglass Attach, which will be able to compete with Google Glass and other smart glasses. However, it is not glasses but a separate module that can be attached to almost any frame. It is removed as easily as it is attached.
The module consists of a OLED-display with a diagonal of 0.23 inches and a resolution of 640 ? 400 pixels, a processor based on the ARM Cortex-A7 core, a camera and also a few sensors and modules for wireless connection with other devices.
Sony is going to launch the device at the CES in early January. Its mass production is scheduled for the end of next year. Sony is also developing a virtual reality headset Project Morpheus. Its release is also scheduled for 2015.
