The iOS 7 Concept We’d Like to See at WWDC 2013

iOS 7 concept 400x250 The iOS 7 Concept Wed Like to See at WWDC 2013

Because we are getting close to the imminent iOS 7 release date which was set for WWDC 2013, lots of Apple enthusiasts are revealing their own vision on how the next iOS iteration will look like.

The iOS didn’t receive any significant changes over the past couple of months. With loads of new features being integrated each year, the iOS remained almost unchanged in terms of user interface since it first saw the light of day in 2007.

Because there are a lot of things that can be changed regarding the user interface and the general functionality of Apple’s operating system, many enthusiasts are showing the world what they are expecting from iOS 7.

Philips Joyce, the author of the iOS 7 concept below, is an Art Dirctor at a company called Simplyzesty and is a person with a highly developed aesthetic sense.

In the short video below you will witness are reinvention of the most important components of the iOS 7 in a way that is both visually pleasing and fully functional. The main apps received a redesigned interface, but, by far the most interesting change was made to the notification center, which now has some sort of widget-like area which would come in handy.

Contrary to the current situation, Philips Joyce’s vision of iOS 7 is occupied with dynamic content that can integrate both information about weather but also about appointments, tasks, or favourite songs.

Personally, I find this concept to be the closest to what I would like the iOS 7 look and feel like. Anyway, there’s less then a month until the opening keynote of WWDC 2013 where we should be able to see Apple’s iOS 7 in flesh, the first major update brought to the software platform since Jony Ive, Senior Vice President of Industrial Design at Apple, was assigned to the interface affairs of the aforementioned OS.
