The iPhone 5S Might Come With a Much Better Camera

iPhone 5S Camera 400x250 The iPhone 5S Might Come With a Much Better Camera

As you probably know, Apple released on the market in the last six years, six iPhone models, and every time the camera of these devices was improved for a better photo experience. Recently, Apple stated in a TV commercial that more and more pictures were made with an iPhone device, and less with other cameras. And we must say, this is true if we take a look on the top 5 most notorious cameras on Flickr, where you`ll see iPhone`s camera  on the first three positions: iPhone 4S, iPhone 5 and iPhone 4.

Now, if we take a look in the past to the first Apple`s iPhones, you probably remember that the original iPhone and the 3G model, have had a 2 megapixel fixed focus camera. But later, when the new iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 came up, the improvement of the camera was significant, and the users could enjoy an 8 Megapixel/ 1080p camera. This betterment made us see how far and how fast Apple advanced when it came to their camera technology. Now, we all expect to see the new Apple smartphone – the iPhone 5S, which is expected to be released with a higher resolution of 12 megapixels.

But, even with an upgrade of pixels in digital photography, an improved image of the pictures is not a sure thing. But, as far as we could find out form Apple Insider, the next generation iPhone is expected to come up with a melioration related to a high dynamic range pictures and a higher quality of the night time pictures. Another rumor related to this matter is telling us something about a 2 megapixel front facing camera which will give the users the possibility to enjoy  a full HD video recording capacity, and a new characteristic in iOS 7 – the “Dual Shot” option. The new feature is expected to offer support for catching pictures with the original and front facing camera in the same time.

Every information we found related to the subject points out the fact that iPhone’s camera is the most used camera among smartphones, and that most of the internet photos are taken with it. Not to mention that the app Camera+, available on iPhones and iPads  is highly appreciated by iPhone users and Apple seems to be pushing this information as much as they can lately. This is also another detail regarding the iOS work pattern. If these adds Apple keeps pushing will have the expected impact on the public out there, then Apple is expecting to increase their sales in phones as much as in the photo related applications. This practically means new business occasions for them, and the increasing need of more storage – which means another opportunity for users to be using more cloud storage.

While the attention on the iPhone devices is increasing we must admit that much of it is centered around its camera capabilities. One would want the photo related services to be more present in the iOS7 firmware as well as in the iCloud. Meanwhile, Apple competition is getting prepared to face Apple’s new features and functions in the photographic domain.
