Wikipad Announced a Removable Game Controller for iPad Mini

Apparently, Wikipad has a strategic plan aimed at making all of us play mobile games pressing the buttons rather than touching the screen.

After the release of Wikipad, a gaming tablet, and a gamepad for Android devices, the company presented a game controller compatible with Apple tablets. It’s called Gamevice and it will align with the first and second generation iPads mini. Fraser Townley, the president of Wikipad, says that such controller will be popular among hard-core gamers who consider touchscreens unacceptable for mobile games.

Gamevice is a removable gamepad which transforms an iPad mini into a game console with a button layout. This device, just like the Wikipad gaming tablet, features analog joysticks, a d-pad and a set of standard buttons. Thus you can play video games using not only the touchscreen, but also a handy console. The novelty will be compatible “with thousands of shooter games, simulators, racing and arcade games from App Store” supporting the MFi (Made for iPhone) specification.
