Design of the New Flagship Samsung Galaxy S6 Uncovered [Photos]

The start of the MWC 2015 is just around the corner. Within the event, Samsung will hold a special presentation dedicated to the announcement of the new flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S6 on March 1. The Galaxy S6 Edge will be presented along with it, and here is another confirmation of that.

The publication CNET Korea has posted an image showing the smartphones Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Edge. As it was expected, the latter will sport a touchscreen curved onto both sides of the device. Another picture of the new flagship covered with a case was posted by the accessories manufacturer Verus.

In addition, schematic images of the Samsung Galaxy S6 leaked unveiling its appearance and dimensions. The new flagship will be equipped with a housing with the dimensions of 143 x 70.8 x 6.91 mm and a protruding main camera module. Previously, it was reported that the case would be 7.2 mm thin.

As it is expected, the Samsung Galaxy S6 will sport a 5-inch Super AMOLED screen of a Quad HD resolution, an eight-core processor Exynos 7420 with 3 GB of RAM, a fingerprint scanner, a heart rate monitoring sensor and two cameras, the 20-megapixel main one and the 5-megapixel front one.

As previously stated by a leading analyst of Mobile Research Group, the Galaxy S6 would leave iPhone 6 behind considering the technical aspects. He said that the Korean device was more advanced than its competitor ?both technically and externally?.
