Google Glass glasses can lead to headaches and blurred vision. The Google corporation consultant, Dr. Eli Peli of Harvard, says that augmented reality glasses can have serious impact on the vision system because people are not accustomed to looking up often.

Earlier, one of the brightest representatives of the pro-Glass-movement, Chris Barrett decided to abandon wearing the augmented reality glasses. Prior to that, he became famous for being the first person to capture the arrest with the Google Glass, the first one who got kicked from the casino for wearing the glasses, it was he who invented to turn the Google Glass into the sunglasses to see better in the bright light. Now Barrett accuses the device in ruining his health.

Barrett says that he left Google Glass, but he does not use it. “I have no reason to use them, it’s not worth the headaches. I read the emails in my computer, and if I’m not home, I have an iPhone for this”.

Due to the fact that Google Glass affects the vision system, the glasses may not be used by children under 13, because they can impair their vision. In addition, a child can break the glasses and hurt themselves. Under the terms of the use of Google Glass, its owner or user must be over 13 years old.

Google itself warns that users of the Google Glass augmented reality glasses may experience strain in the eyes and headaches. The company is ready to take glasses back and return the money for them, if for some reason the buyer can not use them, but the period of such refund is limited.

Meanwhile, Google does not provide a simple answer to the question whether it is possible to use the glasses while driving a car or a bicycle. The company recommends to read the driving regulations for every particular state, and reminds that in most of the American states the use of mobile devices (which includes Google Glass) at the wheel of any vehicle is prohibited.
