iPad 5 And iPad Mini 2 Release Date Delayed

The newly announced report on the restocking of the current models of the Apple tablets leads us to one conclusion regarding the new models to come. It seems that the iPad 5 and the iPad Mini 2 will be released on the market later than expected. So, the fact that the retailers still bring in front stocks of the previous iPads made us conclude that we still have to wait.
On the other hand, the Best Buy and MacMall third-party resellers confirmed that the two products (the first generation iPad mini and the fourth generation full size iPad) are back in stock, having the original price ranges.
Things were pretty clear for Apple that the iPad 5 and the iPad mini 2 were about to launch soon. Still, it seems that they have not been so calculated when it comes to the stocks, as they had to pull back. Rumors also say that the company left Best Buy without any sufficient stock. So, the conclusion is that the iPad 4 and the iPad mini are still in production and they are not to see the light until at the end of the summer or later.
Regarding to the specs of the future devices, what we can tell is that the iPad 5 is expected to have a Retina Display (as the full iPad has). At the moment the iPad mini is on the market with a standard display screen, but the Retina Display might also be the iPad mini 2′s feature.
Other rumors suggest that the iPad Mini 2 will have a screen with the resolution of 2048 x 1536. Compared to the model of iPad Mini that is now on the market this means it is 4 times larger and actually it has the same size as the one of the fourth generation iPad which was released last year (at the same time with the iPad Mini). The company that is rumored to make the displays for the iPad Mini 2 is AU Optronics.
What the iPad Mini 2 device is also expected to have is a 7.9 inch screen and a dual core A7 processor. Also, the battery will last for 10 hours (or at least this is what the company promises). Also, the device will totally be for the ones that are into photos, as it will feature a FaceTime HD camera, and an iSight camera with 1080 pixels HD video recording.
Also, the screen might have the Sharp IGZO (indium galliul zinc oxide) technology in order to reduce the thickness of the iPad Mini 2.
When it comes to the iPad 5, rumors suggest that it will have no bezels and the whole form factor has been made sleeker. What Horowitz considers is that the design indicates a Sharp’s IGZO screen technology.
Still, the ability to deliver the components in time will be the decisive point on the release of the next iPad, so it seems neither the Apple company knows for sure when the products will be on the market. They had no official report on this issue.
