iPad 5 Rumors: The Back Case Surfaces?

iPad 51 400x250 iPad 5 Rumors: The Back Case Surfaces?

You might already be overwhelmed by all the images and rumors of the alleged new Apple iPad 5 that have recently been circulating on the internet, but you can not afford to lose track of the latest news on the matter. The latest update is a new image that implies that the company shall keep in line with the iPad mini trends when it comes to its upcoming iPad 5 device and what else to better indicate this than the supposed table’s  rear casing that recently leaked.

The Tactus tech-related website has been keeping the scores when it comes to the alleged design of the the upcoming device and they seem to be accurate on their releases as well. They initially came up with images picturing a few possible features of the new iPad device, among which we can mention a low-budget iPhone shell and a different type of case. Moving forward on the same line of design they just recently released a newer picture that aligns perfectly with the previously mentioned designs and that also takes you thinking of the Apple mini design.

Not only did they release this picture but also mentioned that when it comes to the specs of the upcoming iPad 5 product, we can expect a 9.7 incher in terms of screen and also very thin size in terms of bezel. It has not yet been confirmed either, however it might also incorporate an A7X chip.

The overall lines of the iPad’s designing are kept in between a thin LED light placed on the back of the device – implicitly leading to a much more simple palette of features. It has also been rumored that the release of the new iPad 5 device, we could also witness an Indium gallium zinc oxide (IGZO) display. When it comes to the company in charge of the manufacturing of the displays, Sharp seems to be on everybody’s minds, and the mentioned display would therefore be able to have double the resolution that a normal LCD screen might have, and you might also be surprised by an ability to save up to 90% of power.

To go even more in detail regarding the aspect and its design, it seems that we should anticipate a decrease of up to 25% in terms of device weight and a quarter in width, so this would contribute to a much more simple overall design. When it comes to the technology involved in its screen, the GF2 is rumored to be put in place, so that would basically be a big step from the current GG touch technology we have on the existing iPad. In what concerns the battery, it is expected of Apple to bring out a small-sized one that shall contribute to a lighter device too. We can speak an upcoming iPad 5 weighing approx. 500g, and as you can see the difference from the existing 650 grams one is pretty cool.

Correlating this straight with the iPad mini that was released in the autumn of 2012, it is impossible not to detect the similarities: we then too experienced a thin bezel and a more round-shaped case in comparison to the full-sized Apple iPad 5. Another difference between the iPad 5 and the iPad mini is made by the stereo speakers that are to be found at the bottom of the iPad mini and the sole speaker on the back of the iPad 5.

What’s your opinion on the matter do you think this will be the actual real case of the iPad 5?
