Samsung Galaxy S5 Under Release Pressure After Good iPhone Sale Quarter

Galaxy s5 400x250 Samsung Galaxy S5 Under Release Pressure After Good iPhone Sale Quarter

It seems that the Samsung company is experiencing more pressure than they’ve expected, caused by the release of their next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S5. The Galaxy S4 has seen a decreasing trend in its sales, at just a few months after the launch and this trend turned out to not be an industry wide handset sale slump. And, after Apple’s financial records reported a sale increase of twenty percent this quarter, it looks like people keep buying new smartphone devices. However, they’re not buying the Galaxy S4 anymore.

And the reasons for the Galaxy S4 sales drop are out there in the open. The Galaxy S4 kept a lot of S3’s features and design and unfortunately, it has retained some unpleasant characteristics. For instance, there’s the cheap plastic case that distracts the attention from the few new improvements such as stronger technical specifications, a turnoff and bloated built in apps. However, Samsung showed as that as soon as a phone model seems to be forgotten by the clients, they immediately came out with something else.

Even though Samsung has released so many versions of the Galaxy S4 that you can’t even remember them all,  they haven’t done anything to increase their efforts on discovering where the real issue is. And even if Samsung isn’t not even close to the kind of problems some other Android rivals do, like HTC,  now it seems to be losing the first factor they had on their side: the moment. And for now, the only solution to get out of the hole would be to launch the Galaxy S5 sooner than planned.

And if Samsung didn’t realize it by now, with the appearance of Apple’s sales scores of the iPhone 5, it’s time for them to experience awareness. I mean, even the almost one year old iPhone still sells more than the 3 month old Galaxy S4. Considering the situation, we believe that Samsung’s next move should involve a new smartphone release, preferably the Galaxy S5.
